Intermittent fasting (IF) is often promoted as a simple way to enhance everything from brain function to insulin sensitivity, while also helping to maintain muscle and reduce body fat. But as I answer questions from my clients about whether it’s right for them, I find myself wondering: is intermittent fasting suitable for everyone? This week I’m diving into the latest evidence on IF, especially for active women.
